Responsabilités quotidiennes
As an MRI Tech, you will operate dedicated MRI equipment to obtain critical cross-sectional images supporting accurate diagnosis and treatment. You must select technical parameters, ensuring high image quality for clinicians.
Patient preparation, positioning, screening, and education are key parts of the workflow. Prompt submission of images with accurate data entry and the transfer of patient information to PACS systems are critical.
You are responsible for maintaining a clean, functional workspace. Reporting equipment issues quickly and adhering to all radiation safety procedures are vital to ensure patient and staff safety.
Excellent IV skills are required, as is the ability to manage varied patient needs and contribute positively to the team dynamic. You will also participate in call rotations.
Certifications needed include current BLS, and either ARRT (MRI), ARRT (Radiography), or ARMRIT credentials within the first year of employment.
